Single Origin, Cool Climate Dark Rum Batch 003

Fermented, distilled, matured and bottled on site at our distillery on the rugged and remote south east coast of Tasmania.

With only 227 bottles in our third rum release, this batch was barrel aged for just under 3 years, starting maturation in virgin American oak and finishing in a Bourbon cask.

First impressions on the nose are of dried fig & dates. A beautifully golden palate reveals almonds, hazelnuts and fresh tea, well balanced with a praline sweetness. The finish is smooth & syrupy with a gradual revealing of custard & cocoa. Released at 42% Alc/Vol.
