Hellfire Bluff’s Barrel Aged Sloe Gin 002 is a small-batch Tasmanian sloe gin liqueur, handcrafted on-site at our distillery on the rugged southeast coast of Tasmania. It begins with wild Tasmanian sloe berries, foraged from rural hedgerows, before being distilled, macerated, matured, and bottled at a single location.
With only 270 bottles, this limited second release was aged for nine months in a Tokay cask, developing an intensely rich amber-red hue with outstanding clarity.
The aroma opens with delicate floral notes, followed by a warm, fruit-forward palate of blackberry, cherry, and subtle peach. Sweet flavours of candied fruit, vanilla, and toffee are balanced by the Tokay’s influence and a hint of charred oak. While the gin’s core character remains, the juniper and cinnamon have softened into the background. The result is a silky, short finish with lingering warmth and smooth, layered fruit complexity.
Best enjoyed neat on a cold night or served over ice in warmer weather.

Deliveries will be dispatched from Hellfire Bluff within 48 hours of completed order (Monday-Friday, excluding public holidays) and payment has been received. You’ll receive a notification from Australia Post to let you know your order has been shipped and is on its way to you.
