SPICED PEAR MARGARTINI
SPICED PEAR MARGARTINI
Ingredients
- Cinnamon and cardamom sugar and sea salt, for the rim
- 90 ml Piquant Gin
- ½ cup pear cider
- ¼ cup fresh lime juice
- 20 ml chai-spiced syrup
- Pear slices and cinnamon sticks to garnish
Method
In a mixing jug, combine the Piquant Gin, orange liquor, pear cider, lime juice, and chai syrup.
Stir and chill until ready to serve.
Combine 1 Tbsp caster sugar (raw, if you can find it) ¾ tsp cinnamon, ¼ tsp cardamom and ¼ tsp sea salt in a small bowl and then spread out on a plate.
When you’re ready to serve the drinks, rim your glasses in salty spiced sugar and then fill with ice.
Pour the margartini into margarita glasses.
Garnish with pear slices, a sprig of thyme and cinnamon sticks.
If you want to be dangerously fancy, set the cinnamon stick on fire for drama.
