GIN & ROSEMARY PALOMA COCKTAIL

Hellfire bottled cocktails are pre-mixed with everything you need to mix a delicious drink at your convenience. The perfect amounts of our craft spirits are matched with high-quality mixers for the easiest way to create your own cocktails. A blend of our rich and bold Piquant Herbal Gin with natural pink grapefruit juice, red chilli peppers, lime juice, and distilled fresh rosemary for our twist on the classic cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 4 water balloons
  • 100 grams dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 60 ml Hellfire potato vodka
  • 85 ml Hellfire chocolate liqueur
  • 85 ml heavy cream

Method

Prepare all the ingredients to make the chocolate bowls.

  • Blow up the water balloons to a small bowl size. (I always make a couple extra)
  • Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave or over simmering water until smooth and runny. The chocolate has to reach room temperature or it will be too runny. You need to create a nice thick layer for the bowls to hold. If it's hot, it may explode the balloons and burn your hand!
  • Line a tray with baking paper and use a spoon to create dots of chocolate on the paper as an anchor, before gently dipping the balloons into the chocolate, allowing the excess to mostly run off before placing them on the tray. 
  • A bit of excess chocolate is okay, as this is what forms the “foot” of the bowl.
  • Let the chocolate covered balloons cool in the fridge and then dip again to create a thicker shell.
  • Continue until all the bowls are done and then refrigerate until set.

Pop the balloons and gently peel them out of the bowls. 

If you want the rim of the cup tidied up, use a very hot, clean knife.

Return to the fridge while you make your cocktails..



  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, Hellfire chocolate liqueur, and heavy cream.
  • Fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes, ensuring it's about three-quarters full.
  • Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. 
  • This will chill the ingredients and ensure they are well mixed.
  • Strain the cocktail into the chocolate cups that you prepared earlier.
  • If desired, add a dollop of whipped cream, drizzle some chocolate syrup over the top and finish with a dusting of chocolate, for an extra touch of indulgence.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the luscious flavours of your Chocolate Mudslide cocktail.
